Femme FORTE N is specifically formulated to support reproductive hormones. It contains herbs traditionally used to:
- Chaste tree: traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to decrease PMT symptoms and cycle irregularity. For the relief of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), mild breast pain and other minor symptoms in the days before menstruation.
- Bupleurum: a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herb used to support healthy liver function and assist with irregular or painful periods.
- Withania and Rhodiola: have a history of use as adaptogenic tonics and help the body cope with various stressors including environmental stress.
- Pyridoxal 5 phosphate (Vitamin B6): is an active form of B6 in the body, involved in the synthesis of several neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, GABA and dopamine.
- Vitamin C: aids iron absorption and supports skin healing and healthy immune system function.
- Natural mixed tocopherols (Vitamin E): are forms of vitamin E consisting of alpha, beta, gamma and delta tocopherol.
- Iodine: an important nutrient for the support of healthy thyroid and immune system function, and to promote skin healing.
- Selenium: is an important part of the enzyme glutathione peroxidase, which is involved in the body’s antioxidant systems.
- Zinc: plays a necessary role in the metabolism of reproductive hormones, is necessary for ovulation and supports nervous system health.
